Sundberg Growers
Farmers: Brian and Presley Sundberg
Location: Quincy
What do you farm?
Our main crops are fresh strawberries, basil, kale, zucchini, and cherry tomatoes. In the spring and fall we supply fruit, vegetable, herb, and flower nursery plant starts.
What is the mission of your farm?
Our mission is to sustainably provide fresh healthy produce, and plant starts to grow your own. We advocate home gardening to promote a just and sufficient food system in our community.
On what kinds of products will you feature the "Plumas Grown" logo?
Our beautiful garden stakes in the plant starts and on strawberry baskets will have this logo on them.
What if any sustainable growing practices do you use on your farm?
At the farm we use drip irrigation and timers to save on water. We are experimenting with different cover crops like clover and mulches.
In our nursery operation, we use recycled pots where possible. We are not "Certified Organic", but we do grow organically.
What is the URL of your farm's website or business Facebook page?
http://www.facebook.com/SundbergGrowers
Is there anything else you would like us to know about your farm?
We are Sundberg Growers and we work sunup to sun down during the growing season to bring you
